How a first conversation works
From a first note to an exchange of contact details: who can write to whom, what the other side sees, and what we stay out of.
CapitalReach is a contact network where founders and people with ideas meet investors, co-founders and mentors. No money moves through it, so we have no reason to stand between two people who want to speak, and nothing in a conversation is held back or rewritten.
Who writes first
Investors, co-founders and mentors can ask any live profile for an introduction, with a short note saying why. Founders can always answer, and they can write first to the investors whose stated focus covers their company. A conversation runs between the two sides of the network: a founder or a person with an idea on one side, an investor, co-founder or mentor on the other.
What happens on the other side
The person asked sees the request and the note, and accepts or declines it. When a request is accepted, each side is shown the other's contact details from their profile, so the conversation can continue wherever suits both. A declined request is closed, and nobody owes a reason for it.
What we stay out of
We do not negotiate, take orders, advise on an investment or handle money. We do mark messages that look like a known scam or phishing pattern, so the reader can take care, and members can report a profile that breaks the rules.
